Postdoctoral Fellows
The research focus is to discover molecular biomarkers and drug targets to develop novel diagnostics and therapeutics for aging and diseases, with the application of sophisticated cutting-edge technologies such as high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics platforms. This would be a great opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team, learn and utilize the latest RNA sequencing techniques to probe the transcriptome and proteome of stem cells.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in biology, biochemistry or related disciplines. They should have excellent communication skills as well as a strong background in RNA biology, stem cell biology or bioinformatics. Appointees are expected to be creative and autonomous in leading their own research project which investigates the basic biology of aging.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits (where applicable) will be provided.
